Have I Corrupted Him?

So we went to story time for babies today at the library for the first time. We were doing great, enjoying the songs, looking at the other babies and watching the lady read the book. Then we saw the display behind mommy.

"Mom, mom, mom!!! Do you see it? Do you see it? Mom it's a monkey...IT'S A MONKEY!!! Mom...mommy...mommy look!!! Mom!!!!"

Yes behind us was a display of Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat and from that point on that was all we cared about. Have I corrupted my kid by surrounding him with monkeys. NAH!

Mom I'm Bored

So I've had the thought that when I hear this when our little monkey is older I'm going to tell him "Here. Here's your blanket and a sock and there are your toes. That should keep you entertained for an hour. It use to when you were 6 months old." What do you think...will it work with a 4 year old? Only time will tell.
